The Mistreatment of a Macy's Employee...

I really need some jeans, so I decided to go shopping at Macy's and utilize my discount. Plus they have some really awesome stuff on sale (50% of original price, and 40% of that price, with my 20% discount... equals lots of saved money). Michael and I spent over two hours looking through all the discount racks and everything to find my size jeans and for me to try them on. I'm very picky about clothes, which is why I don't go clothes shopping very much, because it takes me FOREVER to find just a pair of jeans I like. Anyways, I found some, one pair I absolutely ADORED! When I went to pay for them, my card was rejected. You have to use their Macy's card to get the discount, so I decided to put everything on hold and come back after I straightened it out. The girl at the counter said that Macy's doesn't allow employees to put stuff on hold. "Fine. He doesn't work here. Can HE put them on hold?" I said, referring to Michael. She said yes, we left, and went back today.

EVERYTHING that I put on hold had been put back on the many disorganized discount racks. Now I work there. I know it is nearly impossible to locate anything once is has been reduced. That's why I put the stuff on hold. But I guess family of people who work at Macy's aren't allowed to put stuff on hold either! That's just ridiculous! Michael and I were furious. We set out to attempt to find the one jeans that I really loved, and unfortunately, I couldn't locate them in my size again. I even went into the back to look for them with no luck.

I just think it is so rude of the company to have such a policy for not only their employees, but employees FAMILY members! I'm glad Michael didn't find anything he needed for work that he had to put on hold, I guess, since that isn't ALLOWED! Sheesh.

I was really mad today. Every time I would pick something up and it wasn't what I was looking for, I would drop it on the floor and just throw it somewhere. I was really angry. I am very angry at Macy's. They stink like Rainy's breath, which smells really bad right now. I should know cause he's on the bed with me.

All that stuff you dropped, I'll have to pick up on Friday when I go to work!

I made sure not to drop it in your section. Just the other sections. Your section I tried not to mess up too much.

The poor girls who work recovery. The people who work recovery, for the most part, are REALLY nice and hardworking!

I haven't noticed the recovery girls, but I actually find the sales girls look haggard and decrepit. They are, as my old friend Ty would say, two baggers. Just in case one bag breaks.
