Psychology of Suicide

From the SFGate.com:

This image showing the distribution of suicides on the Golden Gate bridge. I find it interesting that most people choose to jump facing San Francisco and the bay, as opposed to looking out on the peacefulness of the ocean. It is as if they are saying "look at me San Francisco! Watch me die."

Should they erect a barrier to prevent death? Probably, but it's sad that we have to suffer because others can't be trusted.
