marchdecember update: No Internet Edition
We finally lost access to our free UW dialup last Saturday night, and until November 3rd when our DSL will be installed, we have no internet access. At least, officially we have no internet access. Unofficially someone around here has a unencrypted wireless connection. The connection was conflicting with another (encrypted) one, but someone logged onto the router and solved that problem. I don't know who. Thank you, mystery person.
So, since the only way to access the internet is to sit on my couch and point my computer in the right direction, here's just a ton of stuff all at once.
1) I recieved new bushings from Booger Racing. My car shifts super great now! They're even yellow-green like my car (not that anybody can see them.) My dad picked up some red ones for his PT as well.
2) Grandma and Amy. Here's a picture I thought Serena would like!
3) Have you seen those Jenny Craig commercials with Kirstie Alley? Is it just me, or have they stretched the image to make her thinner? Why did she need to use Jenny Craig anyway? I thought the miracle of Scientology could help her overcome addiction. I guess not.
4) Avatars! Avatars! We made some avatars for us a long time ago. I don't remember why. I think they were just supposed to be cool. Do they look like us?
Hint! I'm the one without a dog!
5) After seeing screenshots from the Playstation 3... I don't see how the XBox 360 will even compete? As a console, it offers nothing the PS can't provide (with the exception of Halo and a few other games). When it comes to next-gen consoles, you can get a super-powerful machine in the PS3, a very powerful machine in the 360, and a completely revolutionary experience in the Nintendo Revolution. If you could only buy two, which two would you buy? Hands down the PS3 and the Revo.
6) Jennifer and I went out with the family to Jimmy Mac's Roadhouse in Renton. I wish they would open one up by us. I still prefer Logan's Roadhouse, but probably because they're a chain, more like a real restaurant. They're also one of those places that I don't get to go to often, because the nearest one is in Redding.
7) I don't know much about highway safety but I do know a lot about Double Doubles. The main reason why they will never build an In-n-Out in Seattle is that we're too far away for their trucks, which carry fresh, unfrozen beef. The nearest store is in Redding, which is about 10 hours away from here, and another 10 hours away from the In-n-Out distribution center in SoCal. The solution is clear. Increase the speed limit from 70MPH to 140MPH in order to get the beef to Seattle faster.
My thoughts for today people!
