Katie Holmes on Track to Become Real-Life Stepford Wife
Katie Holmes only has wonderful things to say about her new pregnancy.
"It's a dream come true," she says. "I feel great, (being pregnant) is so beautiful. I've never been so happy. ... I'm beaming."
Beautiful? Beaming? She's never been so happy? Being pregnant is certainly not a dream come true. Being pregnant is crummy... you throw up and you get fat and you get weird cravings and all that. The things Holmes says... it's weird. It's like she has lost all independent thought, like she's lost the ability to think critically. She's not real. She doesn't say "well, the morning sickness is a real bummer, but I'm so glad we're having this baby." Because that's real. To pretend like life is 100% perfect is creepy.
I really feel sorry for her.
